About Me

I am an instructional designer and educational technology leader with experience designing, facilitating and evaluating learning experiences across K–12 and higher education. My passion sits at the intersection of learning science, data, and technology, ensuring that educational solutions are not only innovative, but grounded in research and measurable impact.

Why EdTech

I’m passionate about the power of educational technology to transform teaching and learning. To help learners think critically, dream big, and create what’s next. When products are built with educators and learners at the center, and grounded in strong pedagogy and data, they can increase access, deepen engagement, and improve outcomes. I’m drawn to roles where I can contribute to this work through thoughtful design, strategy, and collaboration.

My Journey

I started in education because I love learning—both the process and the impact it has on people’s lives. Early in my career, I saw firsthand how technology could support educators and learners, but also how easily well-intentions can miss the mark without intentional design. That realization shifted my focus toward instructional design and educational technology.

My PhD in Instructional Design & Technology has strengthened my ability to bridge pedagogy and practice, allowing me to design learning experiences informed by meaningful analysis and to drive instructional decisions that lead to measurable, data-driven results in education.

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to:

  • Design and develop online learning experiences rooted in evidence-based instructional practices
  • Lead professional learning around instructional technology and learning design
  • Use data and learning analytics to inform continuous improvement
  • Partner with educators and product teams to implement tools that support real classroom needs

This work taught me a simple truth:

Technology alone isn’t what transforms learning ‐ design that honors how people learn does.
